Technical & Operational History Tiger I Vol 1 1942-1943 - Trojca

Volume 1 will cover the years 1942 and 1943, and Volume 2 will cover years 1944 and 1945. The separate map book, to be included with Volume 1, will have approximately 40 pages of colour maps that will detail the movements and actions of the various Tiger units. The text will include technical development of the tank, and a combat history of each Tiger unit.  Each of the battalions numbered 501-511, the three Waffen-SS battalions (including when they were organic Tiger companies in the Waffen-SS divisions), the Grossdeutschland Tiger battalion and the various independent companies will be covered. This set will be the most comprehensive source to date on the history of the Tiger I. The first volume will be printed in October and we should have our copies November. Volume 2 which covers 1944-1945 will follow in early 2010.
