This is probably the best and most detailed work on the subject of the Commonwealth campaign in the Horn of Africa in 1940, largely fought by colonial troops from both sides. This book dispels the myth of the cowardly Italian soldier. Both sides struggled against a third an unforgiving enemy, the harsh weather and terrain of this part of Africa.
