The Greatest Raid of All

 

On March 28th, 1942, HMS Campbeltown crashed with terrific force in to the enormous locked gates of the Normandie dock. Its purpose was to destroy the essential gear of the world's largest dock, preventing German battleships from using it. This book tells the story of that pivotal raid. No fewer than 5 VC's were awarded.
