Tank Destroyers Gun/Missile of the Modern German Army

 

The new German Army, the Bundeswehr, demanded in 1956 the production of new and capable Tank Destroyers Gun and Missile to deal with the Warsaw Pact armoured threat. Consequently a new vehicle family, the Kanonenjagdpanzer (Gun) and Raketenjagdpanzer (Missile), were developed. This publication describes these vehicles in detail and in service from 1959 to 2005.
