German Unit Insignia of World War 2 Part 1 Ground Units

 

This is the first volume which aims to cover the unit insignia of all German ground-combat forces in World War 2. Each title will focus on several divisions, initially starting with armoured and infantry formations. This first part includes the following armoured divisions 1. Panzer-Division, 2. Panzer-Division, 1. SS-Panzer-Division "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler" and 2. SS-Panzer-Division "Das Reich" and the I. Infantry-Division through to the 12. Infantry Division. The unit insignia is illustrated in both full colour and black & white. The colour illustrations of the insignia, include both the official versions and the variants. The b&w photos have been selected to focus on the insignia being discussed. A very useful book for modelers and military enthusiasts.
