Century Bombers Story of the Bloody Hundredth

 

The story of the 100th Bomb Group (Heavy) based at Station 139 Thorpe Abbotts. During its operational life during the second world war the Group lost some 229 Flying Fortresses with over 800 men killed in action or flying accidents and many more became prisoners of war.
