Commanded by the youngest General in the British Army, they carried out a series of attacks against Waffen SS & Wermacht Panzer Divisions. The book recounts Operations & the closing of the Falaise Gap. The 43rd (Wessex) Infantry Division, assisted by French Resistance, protected their left flank in the difficult country around Mont Pinçon. Includes the Division’s Order of Battle.
