Placing An Order
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and click on the titles you would like to order and put them into your shopping cart.

After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" in the top right hand corner and you will be asked whether you prefer to pay using a Credit or Debit Card, PayPal or a British Pound Sterling cheque or Postal Order (this also includes international money orders in pounds sterling drawn on a UK bank made payable to “Military History Books Ltd”).

We can also accept orders over the telephone with payment via a valid debit or credit card:

We accept payment via most credit and debit cards including MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, American Express, JCB.

Payment is also possible via bank transfer (including international bank transfer), please contact us for details.

All prices shown are valid at the time of placing the order but we reserve the right to alter prices.

All prices are shown in British Pound Sterling and we cannot at the present time accept payment in other currencies.

Postage & Packing

We use Royal Mail and Interlink courier company for our deliveries and try to keep our delivery charges to a minimum. You will be informed of the full postage and packaging costs before we ask for payment. Postage and packaging is charged on a cumulative weight basis and start from £2.00 for UK delivery for orders weighing less than 500g to a maximum of £4.75 regardless of the number of books you order.

This applies to deliveries in the UK only, for overseas delivery please see below. Therefore, the more items you order the cheaper the postage charge per item. .

Overseas customers will have a choice between Airmail or the cheaper Economy Airmail alternative.

Special Postage Rates for EU Customers
Postage will be based on weight and will start from £3.

For larger orders: buy as many books as you like we will only charge the following maximum amount for postage regardless of the number of books purchased:

Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Eire - From £3 to a maximum of £15 regardless of the number of books ordered

Austria, Denmark - From £3 to a maximum of £18 regardless of the number of books ordered

Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Spain - From £3 to a maximum of £20 regardless of the number of books ordered

Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania - From £3 to a maximum of £23 regardless of the number of books ordered

Delivery of large orders will be via Interlink Express courier.

Please note that all parcels are sent at the customer’s risk, and we are not liable for any losses suffered during shipping to the customer’s address. We recommend that all rare, expensive or unusual items are sent insured and we are happy to arrange this.

Availability
The majority of the books listed on this site will be in stock and can be dispatched quickly, however please allow up to 14 days for delivery (to an UK address) in some cases. If a book is not in stock and has to be imported from an overseas publisher we will notify you of your expected delivery date.

Privacy Policy
Any information we may ask you for i.e. telephone number, your postal and email address, we will never give this information out to anyone without your approval. World War Two Books operates within the guidelines set out by the U.K. Data Protection Act (1998).
